Hertfordshire man scoops top national business award

An office product specialist from Hertford was named Newcomer of the Year at the National Sales Awards last week.

Simon Lindsay, who has worked at Harlow based business Pitney Bowes for just 18 months, beat off stiff competition to win the prestigious accolade.

Judges were most impressed by Simon’s ability to understand client issues and solve them, as well as his relationship building and time management skills.

Nigel Eaton, business manager of office supplies at Pitney Bowes said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Simon. He’s an asset to our team here at Pitney Bowes and the award exemplifies our dedication to providing customers with an outstanding service, both before and after sales.

“It’s also an honour that Pitney Bowes had finalists in three other categories this year, including Sales Campaign of the Year, Account Manager of the Year and Outstanding Sales Person of the Year”.
