Local business woman to appear in BBC series

Hertfordshire business woman Sally Wells, director of Kids2Work, has been chosen to feature in the BBC Three series ‘What’s Up For Hire Live’.

The live interactive series, which starts on October 17, is tackling one of the biggest issues facing the UK – youth unemployment.

Sally, along with a host of other experts, will be helping young people find work placements, giving lots of practical career advice and revealing proven tips and tricks for writing the perfect CV.

Sally who lives near St Albans in Blackmore End said: “I am delighted to be involved with the BBC initiative. I set up Kids2Work to provide support and guidance to the growing number of young people who are worried about their job prospects. Over 20 per cent of young people are out of work and it’s really tough for them to make themselves stand out from the crowd.

“Kids2Work helps school and university leavers to find their careers by giving them the confidence, skills and focus to make their job search a success.”
