Scheme to cut waste

BUSINESSES in North Herts are being invited to take part in a free scheme aimed at cutting the amount waste sent to landfill.

North Herts Council’s commercial waste customers in Hitchin, Letchworth and Baldock have been invited to sign up for the no-obligation six-month trial.

They will be provided with free collections for paper, glass, cans, cardboard and shrink wrap.
