CCTV image released after Baldock thefts

POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they believe might have vital information about a series of thefts from vehicles in Baldock.

The thefts occurred on a number of roads in the Clothall Road area of the town, including Icknield Way East, South Close and Grosvenor Road West.

Several vehicles were targeted and a variety of items were stolen including children's toys.

The offences occurred overnight between January 7 and January 8.

Detective Constable Lisa Turner, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are very keen to speak with this man as we believe he may have vital information which could assist our investigation.
