A MOTORCYCLIST who died in an early morning collision in Clifton on Friday was a serving police officer with the Metropolitan police.
Daniel Gibb, 25, from Ashburnham Road, Bedford was travelling along the A507 in the direction of Henlow when he collided with a green minibus.
He was riding a Honda CBR 600 when he collided with the minibus at 05:15am at the junction of New Road.
Mr Gibb was pronounced dead at the scene, suffering cerebral contusions and a fracture to the base of the skull.
