Teenagers injured in road traffic collision

TWO teenagers have been slightly injured following an earlier road traffic collision (Friday, March 12).
 
The East of England Ambulance Service were alerted to the Stevenage Road in Walkern at 8.06am.
 
Two ambulance crews from Stevenage station attended the scene.
 
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson who attended the incident said: “The two occupants were able to free themselves prior to our arrival.
 
"A 17 year old girl and a 14 year old boy were checked over by paramedics before they were both taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.”
