The new Enhance Hair Salon and Energise Beauty Salon will officially launch on February 9, offering a whole range of treatments at a competitive price.

The new salons will be open to the public all year round, allowing level two, three and four students the chances to gain real life commercial salon experience on real clients.

David Pitcher, assistant principal for creative and cultural industries at NHC, said: “The new salons will provide students with a spacious modern learning environment and real work life experience. Mirroring industry salons and reducing the gap between college and salon life.”

Local salon owners and industry representatives were invited to preview the new salons as well as the hair and beauty training rooms.

Lorraine Winslade from Love Your Skin, London, said: “It really does reflect industry; students get a real feel for the atmosphere of the workplace.”
